The great news is that your existing AutoPot Module trays, pots and lids will fit the new AQUAvalve 5, the 3/8″ fittings, and the 3/8″ pipe perfectly. We have a full range of 1/2″ – 3/8″ fittings to insert into your main feed line wherever you need to reduce gauge for the modules. Once connected to the water supply, the AQUAvalve in every AutoPot Watering System controls the flow of water to the plants by simple gravity pressure from a reservoir of any size. No pumps, mains water pressure, electricity or timers are ever required.

Plant Controlled

AQUAvalve is an exceptionally responsive means of feeding. It opens to supply water to a 3/4″ depth and then closes. Once the plants have used that supply the AQUAvalve reopens to repeat the cycle. No need to second guess plant requirements, compensate for conditions or recalibrate unnecessary pumps or computers.

AQUAvalve 5 – a 66% Bigger Inlet

The needs of growers are ever-evolving, served by an increasingly diverse range of nutrients. With a 5mm inlet running 3/8″ tubing/fittings, the new AQUAvalve5 rises to the challenge of delivering the widest range of nutrients in a faster flow for a quicker fill, maximising system efficiency. Maintenance is reduced and the risk of blockages minimized.

Compatibility

AutoPot Watering Systems, System Modules, and Watering Kits are now supplied as standard with the large-bore AQUAvalve 5 and with 3/8″, 3/8″ – 1/2″, and 1/2″ pipework and fittings. The original AQUAvalve, the 1/4″ pipework and 1/4″ fittings previously supplied with the AutoPot range are still available as spares, as are 1/2″ – 1/4″ fittings.

Your existing 1Pot, XL, XL SmartPot, and easy2grow trays, pots and lids will accommodate the new AQUAvalve5, the 3/8″ fittings and 3/8″ pipe. The design of these is unchanged.

Your existing 12.4 gal Tanks need existing holes drilling out to 12.5mm. We recommend using a step drill bit to carefully increase the hole size to 12.5mm. Use a 3/8″ Grommet and 3/8″ Golf Filter to run 3/8″ pipe required for AQUAvalve5. If you don’t want to take the DIY approach, you can purchase a new 12.4 gal tank compatible with the AQUAvalve 5 and associated fittings.

FlexiTank and FlexiTank Pro Couplers are unchanged. Only in the event of connecting directly to 3/8″ pipe do they require the new 1/2″ – 3/8″ Filter and Adapter.
