Tested with radiant heat, the MSA Thermalgard® is an excellent piece of safety headgear able to withstand up to 350° F. Along with its protection from elevated temperatures, its glass-reinforced shell also protects the wearer from falling debris and other projectiles. The hard hat also has a slotted brim for accessories as well as a beaded edge for higher rigidity. You also have the option between One-Touch pinlock and MSA’s Fas-Trac ratchet suspension.
