The Pyramex S1250 cylinder face shield has an IR shade 5 that protects the wearer from infrared light associated with cutting and torch soldering. It is constructed of strong polycarbonate which protects the wearer from high impact hazards like flying wood chips, steel shavings and other debris. Well-placed universal slots allow for versatility as the face shield can be used with a variety of different head gears. Because a face shield offers secondary protection it is important to always use it in conjunction with spectacles or goggles.
